A Fragrant Aroma – A Special Gift

I can’t imagine anyone who doesn’t appreciate a special gift.  Even more so when it is given for no particular reason.  I had this happen to me, and I can’t wait to share it with you.

First of all, you will be surprised to know it didn’t come from Tom.  He was present when I received it and even joined with me in my joy.  But the actual gift came from another who loves me more than Tom.

It came from my Heavenly Father.

The gift came as I was attempting to go to sleep.  Out of no where I told Tom I felt like I was going to laugh – and laugh I did.  I don’t mean chuckling over a funny joke.  There was no joke, just an overwhelming desire to laugh my heart out.  It was hilarious.  I laughed until I cried, and so did Tom.

It has been an emotional month for several reasons – most of which I’ve written about here and here.  On top of these personal things, there are many other issues facing people I love dearly.  Life has seemed very serious.  I can’t remember when I’ve had a good laugh over “anything,” which made laughing over “nothing” seem even better.

It was refreshing.

It felt oh-so-good.

My Father cares for me.  He knows laughter is good for the soul.  So when I was least expecting it, He gave me this very special gift.  I chuckle every time I think about it.

When was the last time you had a good long L.A.U.G.H.?

I had the gift of knowledge today, given to me by a wonderful friend. Its the kind of knowledge I wish I’d known sooner, but now that I have it, it will serve me the rest of my life. I’m very grateful for that.

Wow, that’s quite a gift. Isn’t it wonderful to realize it as soon as you receive it as being a lasting gift? So glad you received this today, Gina!

Just thinking about you laughing……well, I can almost hear you……and it makes me smile. I was just thinking the other day how good laughter is for us mere mortals. What a wonderful surprise.
