I think the thing that impressed me most is how happy everyone is!!! It was so refreshing our society today makes you think that if your married your not happy!! SO it was such a wonderful thing to see all these happily married couples and some for a long time!!! Congrats to all finalist!!

A thought here is : These couples are not what you would put on a glossy magazine. Although creative . Today’s image is perfect waists …. hairstyles and so on. What beams out at me is the genuine love on most faces. (not fake) . Happy marriage is what takes work and it IS fun.

I vote for #9. Forty years of marriage takes a lot of work, yes, work to stay as happy as this couple is. My husband and I will be married 62 years next Sunday, so I know what I am saying.

Yes it is is a LONG journey of ups and downs and when one is over the 35 year mark it is really an accomplishment these days, wow the anonymous person above has been married 62 years how awesome, we are heading to our 39th.
