The internet has changed our world forever!  Think of it – what started as a resource for businesses, like an electronic phone book, has turned into a social network where we plan our activities, announce our accomplishments and declare our devotions.  It is larger than we ever imagined, and now it can be faster than we ever dreamed!

Google is looking for a City like ours to test their experimental ultra high speed internet network. That means our residents would have access to an internet connection 100 times faster than anywhere else. As you can imagine, the possibilities for this infusion of technology are endless. From media to communications, it would dramatically change the way we experience the internet in our homes.

Since Google is looking for a city to experiment with the fastest internet speed anywhere, our very own Mayor Buddy Dyer, has nominated Orlando.  Now it is time for us to do our part, and if we’re selected we will have a great opportunity to see what the internet will be like in the future!

So…Get Googling Orlando!
