Foodie Fridays – Super Bowl Tradition

I’m sure I’ve mentioned this before, but I love to prepare food based on the cities of the two teams competing. This year is no different. We are huge Buffalo Bills fans and sadly there will be no wings on the menu. At least these two teams have good food to enjoy.

We will start with the New England Patriots. Can you guess what I’m making? If you said New England Clam Chowda, you would be correct! I haven’t made this before, but based on the ingredients and reviews I’m confident it will be delicious. I found it on the Classy Cooks website.

For our Seattle Seahawk dish I’m making Dutch Baby Pancakes or also called German pancakes. They are similar to a crepe with a popover center. The version we’re making is the Berry Dutch Baby with strawberries and blueberries baked in the middle. I found this on Natasha’s Kitchen website.

Since I haven’t made these dishes yet, I’m sharing the photos from the websites whose recipes I’ll be trying. Maybe you’ll be inspired to try these dishes too!

Oh, and we will be cheering for the Seahawks. If the Bills can’t win, then any team playing against the Patriots is our favorite.

Go Bills…um….Seahawks!
