Be present ‘zactly where you is,
and not where you would be,
and give your dear sweet wife a kiss;
then give her one from me.
We’ll never meet upon this earth,
and that’s a grieving thing,
but through the grave of Jesus’ birth
there’s hope that can take wing,
that y’all be saved for Paradise,
and maybe I will too,
and it will be pretty nice
to say Howdy to you.
With faith in Christ we can rely
on Him in the by and bye.
