Let’s hear it for MONDAY!!!

Tom and I have held Monday nights as our regular date night for as long as I can remember.  The advantages we’ve found are:  places are less crowded, it’s something to help us actually look forward to the first of the work week, discounts offered at many restaurants because it’s an off night, babysitters are easier to come by, usually no sports activities for your children keeping you from having to postpone a week.  So, if you don’t have a regular date night – we highly recommend Monday!  I can honestly say it’s my favorite night of the week!

Here’s what’s happening around O-town:

    Debi,
Michael and I agree 100%!! we’ve had our datenite on Monday’s since we’ve been marrried (almost 19 years!!) and since our pastors are also off on Monday’s…very little gets scheduled for church activities!! so it’s been very easy to maintain.

Bill and I on Friday night went to the Morse Museum of American Art in Winter Park. We had a delightful time and afterwards enjoyed a stroll down Park Avenue. Music was playing in many areas. Thanks for the info on The Romantic Vineyard.
